The Gith
An extra planetary race that live in the Astral Plane called The Between, a world located between Emathan and the Heaven and Hells.
The Gith are made up of many clans with the dominant being The Githyanki, also known as the Intruders and the Githinthor, also known as the Visitors.
The Githyanki have allied themselves with The Dooms with their goal to conquer and rule all the other clans. They traveled to Emathan to kidnap Tionchar Winery’s Wine Master Anton, who makes the Ailm Wine, to use for themselves and keep from the Githinthor.
The Githinthor are yearly visitors to the Tionchar Winery to collect the Ailm Vintage that gives special powers on their home world. They are also the last clan to stand against the Githyanki.
Seer Yennal of The Vanguard showed Douglan what happened on the day of the attack on Tionchar Winery. Maggie, his daughter, has aligned with the Githinthor to help stop the Githyanki and prevented Anton from abduction. When given the chance to return to Emathan, Maggie had refused, telling her father that she had to stay as there was more work to be done to prevent the Githyanki from total conquest. Douglan has been tasked by Seer Yennall and the Vanguard to seek answers about the Gith and the threat to Emathan that they pose.
