Fariedah is an elderly Silver Dragonborn and a companion of Obediah
Fariedah believed the party needed to travel to the source of the dragon life force called the Sil. A gateway hidden under Lyelion could take them there, but the key, a staff called Countersign, was missing. Fariedah believed the staff could be found in an old stronghold that once belonged to the Order of the Timeless. She asked the party if they could retrieve it, and they agreed to the quest immediately.
