Countersign is a magical staff that once belonged to an ancient group of wizards called the Order of the Gate. This staff can be used to open portals to various locations from the gateway located in the Order of the Gate’s old headquarters. It was taken millennia ago from a rival group called the Order of the Timeless.
Fariedah, the silver dragonborn who has offered her help to the party, requires this staff to gain access to the Sil, the magical source of all dragon kind on Emathan, and try to repair it.
