The party had just collected themselves after fighting the watery creatures discovered in the stream. Ahead, the cave continued around a corner to the right.

The party travelled down a short section of tunnel that opened into a small cave. Inside, they could see a much larger version of the statue that had attacked them earlier, what appeared to be the remains of Tressa slumped over a desk and a lot of treasure.

As the party attempted to enter the room, the statue moved to attack. Thankfully, they determined that the lamp beside Tressa’s body kept the statue from attacking them. This allowed the party to collect the treasure and leave without a fight.

Remembering their deal with Thornsnap, the party left a large number of coins and some other treasures from the house where they had originally met the dragon. As they departed the house, the green dragon was waiting. After checking on what was left behind, it allowed them to leave without incident.

The party returned to the Stargazer and sailed back to Hollow Harbour. Harabar departed, and Douglan and Kogaan enjoyed a much-deserved night of recovery in town. Early the next morning, the party boarded the Stargazer and headed for Lyelion in the Wilds to meet with Obediah and Fariedah.

During the flight to Lyelion, Douglan was awakened by what appeared to be Lafferty warning that danger was approaching. Just as the party reached the main deck, Void Hunters began to emerge from a small rift that had opened in the sky near the Stargazer and began attacking.

The fighting was intense, and several of the crew were knocked unconscious. Thankfully, the rift began to close, and the Void Hunters disengaged and flew back inside. The party helped patch up the injured crew, and the Stargazer continued. Captain Merfiz requested that an additional fighting crew be added to the skyship’s roster in case such attacks continued. The party agreed.

Upon reaching Lyelion, the party was met by Obediah. Obediah took them straight to Fariedah’s home. After everyone was comfortably seated in her nest, she told them why her family believed dragon eggs were hatching less often in this world.

Fariedah believed they needed to travel to the source of the dragon life force called the Sil. A gateway hidden under Lyelion could take them there, but the key, a staff called Countersign, was missing. Fariedah believed the staff could be found in an old stronghold that once belonged to the Order of the Timeless. She asked the party if they could retrieve it, and they agreed to the quest immediately.

After Fariedah was done, Obediah invited the party to join him outside. He informed them that Nightingale had been sent on a secret mission for the Penumbra Bards, and Landis had decided to return to Windrest to study the Devil Star diamond with Obediah. Neither would be rejoining the party in the near future. Obediah told them to continue to use the Stargazer as needed.
Added:
As the last session began, it was mid afternoon on the 30th day of the 1st Trigon of Elok’s Influence.
