Douglan and Kogaan had just arrived at the Hollow Harbour’s fight arena. After asking around, they were pleased to hear that Harabar Muzura was at the arena that night. After further inquiry, they arrived at a small booth near the middle of the arena. Seated in the booth was a half-orc who stared intently at some papers before looking up to see them. After giving them a quick look over, an unexpectedly large smile erupted across his face. "Friends!" he bellowed, "What can Harabar do for you on this most fabulous of fight nights?"

After brief introductions, Douglan and Kogaan joined Harabar at his table. They inquired about Harabar’s knowledge of Tressa Frostdancer’s hideout. He told them that when he was young, he had adventured with Tressa. She often spoke of the place where she wanted to retire. Harabar believed that this was where her hideout was located.

Harabar offered Douglan and Kogaan a deal. Fight in the arena and prove their worth as adventuring partners. If they won, he would take them to Tressa’s hideout and split whatever was found equally between the three. A quick fight against two Goliaths known as the Brothers of Pain proved that Douglan and Kogaan were worthy partners.

A plan was made to wait for the Stargazer's return from the City of Alagon. The three would take the skyship into the Starrun mountains to a waterfall known as the King’s Cloak. This was the area where Harabar believed Tressa’s hideout would be found.

The three new adventuring partners departed Hollow Harbour a few days later. The skyship allowed for quick travel to the falls despite poor weather conditions. After an hour or so of searching the area, Tressa’s hideout was located. Captain Merfiz landed the ship nearby, and the party departed.

Arriving at the hideout, the first objective was to find an entrance. After a quick search around the building, it was determined that the double doors in the front were the only way in. Kogaan gave the door a hard shot with his shoulder, and the wood bar holding it closed shattered.

The room inside the doors was surprisingly warm and well-lit. A quick search revealed some coins and a dagger with a magical script carved into it. Travelling into the next room, the party was immediately attacked by two large stone statues that appeared to be acting as guards. The statues showed great resistance to the party’s efforts to defeat them. Ultimately, both were destroyed, but not before all three adventurers received some good hits.

Thanks to some magical healing, the party was able to recover and carry on. They decided to search the upstairs next. In a completely unexpected turn, they immediately encountered a young green dragon who referred to itself as Thornsnap.

Thornsnap claimed to be trying out the place as a potential lair and was surprised to have guests. Although annoyed at the intrusion, it offered the party a deal. They could search the hideout for treasure if they shared what they found with the dragon and then left. Without waiting for an answer, the dragon leaped up to a large hole it had created in the hideout's roof. Giving the party a disapproving look, it disappeared outside.

The party continued their search upstairs, where they found what appeared to be the bedroom. Searching the room uncovered a pair of magical short swords and a large belt. Although they could not confirm, the belt's design left them believing that this was the Belt of Giant Strength they sought.

Returning to the ground floor, the party entered the last section of the hideout, where they found the kitchen and a study. Searching the new areas, they discovered a tunnel off the kitchen into a cavern below. Douglan climbed down, and as his boots hit the ground, the tunnel erupted in a shrieking noise. Dozens of strange mushrooms in the area were producing what appeared to be a warning. A warning for who… or what was unclear.

Once all three were inside the cave, they began exploring. In the next chamber, the party encountered a small, shallow stream and began to cross it. As soon as they touched the water, two large, watery creatures erupted up from the stream and attacked, trying to pull the party members into it. The party again prevailed against the foes, but not without taking a few solid hits and burning up more of their dwindling resources.
Added:
As the last session began, it was early evening on the 28th day of the 1st Trigon of Elok’s Influence.
