Deleted: <p>As the last session began, it was early evening on the 7th day of the 1st Trigon of Elok's Influence. The party stood in the small room just outside the entrance to the old tomb. Inside, the grease fire and smoke continued to burn, making moving back into the room where the battle erupted difficult and dangerous. The single guard dog, still caged inside the room, had begun to whine and yelp as the flames grew closer.</p><p>The party regrouped and headed back inside. Landis stopped to release the last guard dog as the remainder of the party engaged two cloak men waiting in a hallway not far inside. After defeating these men, the old tomb seemed to fall quiet, and the party began the search for Obadiah.</p><p>Entering into a large natural cavern that branched off the old tomb, Kogaan picked up on the scent of a dragon. Walking over to the edge of a small underground river that ran through the cavern, the tracks of a young dragon could be seen. Despite this new twist, the party knew they had to stay focused on the search for Obadiah.</p><p>Moving into the southwest section of the tomb, the party discovered a door that entered into what appeared to be someone's accommodations. A quick visual search of the room revealed a few valuables and message scrolls which the party took and continued on with finding Obadiah.</p><p>Moving next to the last set of closed doors, Kogaan again used his size and strength to knock the doors open. A cloaked man did his best to fight back against the party but was quickly dispatched. The room contained several holding cells. Thankfully, the party found Obadiah inside one of them. The old mage was in poor shape, but he was alive.</p><p>The decision was made to get Obadiah back to the ship so he could be properly looked after. After a short trip back through the forest, the party met up with the Stargazer and her crew. Obadiah requested that he be taken back to Windrest to hide out. The party agreed, and the ship departed.</p><p>During the trip to Windrest, the party reviewed the message scrolls found in the accommodations.</p><p>The first read, "Onyx, I ask that you are expedient in determining the following of the imposter calling himself Darvell Snowleaf. I need to know who he is working for and what information he may have already shared. This violation of my Reach could carry great consequences with the Prophet. A report is to be delivered in person no later than the 11th day of the 7th Trigon. Hail to the true god. Chaos Watcher."</p><p>The second read, "Onyx, The Ministry requests that you travel to Thasan in Easterly at your earliest convenience. The Darkness will be gathering there to determine how best to secure the Gith portal in order to ensure that they are unimpeded when the time for their arrival comes. The party followed him back through the way they had come to get Landis' staff and book. This time the door at the end of the hall entered Obadiah's study.
