As the last session began, it was 80 days since the party was last altogether. It was a beautiful late summer morning on the 39th day of the 3rd Trigon of Nool’s Influence. The winery was busy with harvest and wine-making activities as a new day began. The party had gathered around the same table on the manor house's porch where they sat together all those long days ago.

The party spent several hours catching up on what they had been doing and things they had learned during the 80 days. It was clear that there was a lot going on. The party finished up their breakfast and headed into the City of Evendor.

Upon arriving in the city, the party headed straight to the Watchtower Theatre. Nightingale entered alone to speak with Alvord "Starling" Amberlance. Starling congratulated Nightingale on becoming a full-fledged Penumbra. Nightingale asked Starling to listen for any information on Whalespell Wren as she was missing which he assured Nightingale he would do. Starling warned Nightingale that Haze was still searching for him. With that, Nightingale departed.

Next, the party decided to pay a visit to Elim Brushbelly at the Fortune and Luck Smoke House. Upon arriving, the smoke house was empty. Elim told the party that there had been "no deliveries" since their last visit. He assured the party that he would let them know if any should occur.

With a major part of their business for the day completed, the party headed to The Nag's Head tavern for drinks and lunch. There they decided that something had to be done about Haze. They made a big show of Nightingale's presence hoping that it might draw attention. They next moved to The Oarhouse Inn where they hoped to do the same. Nightingale pretended to pass out from being drunk, and the rest of the party took him to a room in the inn. The plan was successful, and the party noted a cloaked figure that had been at The Nag's Head tavern go upstairs.

In his room, Nightingale waited. A person stopped at his door, and quietly unlocked it. They burst into the room and quickly closed and locked the door behind them. Nightingale first grappled and then magically held the person. Each time the person was able to break the hold. All the while, Nightingale had a nagging feeling that he knew this person.

The rest of the party reached the room and broke down the door. A tense standoff ensued until Nightingale suddenly realized who the person was. Haze was Brix. A rogue that Bashir had run with in his younger days. Nightingale asked the others to wait outside so that Haze and he could talk. The two came to an understanding of who they both actually were but agreed that neither were those people from so many years ago anymore. Haze decided that he was not returning to Easterly. Instead, he spoke of heading to Vargas and took his leave out the window. The party returned to Tionchar Winery late that night and headed straight to bed.

The next morning, Nightingale, disguised as Cory Fairbanks, asked for Douglan to accompany him back to the City of Evendor so that he could acquire a breastplate. The two headed to The Dragon's Hide where Wulfric Wildhammer found and fitted Cory with a breastplate in a few hours. Douglan shopped for a gift for Maggie, and the two headed back to the winery.

Back at the winery, the party gathered in the new manor house's dining room where they discussed strategy for Maggie and the Githinthor's arrival. This included how to best handle an unexpected arrival of Githyanki and how best to protect the wine. With full bellies and full heads, they all headed off to bed.
