Recap of Session 06

As the last session began, the weather had improved greatly from the day before as a warm sun began to rise into a clear sky. The party waited just outside of their accommodations at <a href="https://emathan.rolebyroll.com/campaign-wiki/wander-foot/">The Dew Drop Inn</a> for the arrival of Filibert; the halfling that was asked to lead them back to the cave. Unfortunately, Filibert was nowhere to be seen. After a quick search, a wake-up call, and a little convincing, the four headed into the forest to find the cave.Filibert was able to lead the party back to a small tunnel that led into the cave where the other two had gone missing. <a href="https://emathan.rolebyroll.com/campaign-wiki/nightingale/">Nightingale</a> entered the cave and quickly discovered the first of the missing halflings. Once revived, the halfling was able to warn them that the cave contained giant spiders. Determined to find the second halfling, the party entered the cave again.As they entered a larger chamber, they were indeed attacked by two giant spiders. Strangely, everyone could hear the spiders talking to one another. Voices that rang out not in the chamber, but inside their heads. The victory was won against the spiders who fell into the depths below. The second halfling was found in a third chamber along with what appeared to be a magical longbow. The party safely exited the cave and return the halflings to the gypsy camp. The day ended as everyone enjoyed a grand celebration in honor of their return.The party next traveled to <a href="https://emathan.rolebyroll.com/campaign-wiki/wellspring-2/">Wellspring</a>. As they prepared to enter the town, they learned from an old comrade of <a href="https://emathan.rolebyroll.com/campaign-wiki/douglan-mckayne/">Douglan</a>'s that there had been an assassination attempt on <a href="https://emathan.rolebyroll.com/campaign-wiki/kingdom-of-evendor/">King Evendor</a>. The king was recovering, but it had the kingdom on high alert. They headed into town, and after enjoying some food and drink at <a href="https://emathan.rolebyroll.com/campaign-wiki/wellspring-2/">The Whispering Pixie</a>, they decided to pay a visit to the Courtland family; a family of powerful wizards that call Wellspring home. There they met <a href="https://emathan.rolebyroll.com/campaign-wiki/brell-courtland/">Brell Courtland</a> who took them for a short walk outside of their keep. Brell answered several questions about the <a href="https://emathan.rolebyroll.com/campaign-wiki/the-gith/">Githyanki</a> and <a href="https://emathan.rolebyroll.com/campaign-wiki/the-between/">The Between</a> including a promise to let the party know if the Gith opened a gate near the <a href="https://emathan.rolebyroll.com/campaign-wiki/tionchar-winery/">Tionchar Winery</a>.The party next travelled to Evendor and Tionchar Winery; the conclusion of nine days of travel from <a href="https://emathan.rolebyroll.com/campaign-wiki/whalespell/">Whalespell</a>. Talking with <a href="https://emathan.rolebyroll.com/campaign-wiki/anton-the-wine-master/">Anton</a>, they learned that he had not been truthful about what had happened in The Between. He was indeed gone for a year when he was taken into The Between. There, Maggie had rescued him from the Githyanki, and the two took refuge with the Githinthor. Maggie took up arms against the Githyanki and decided not to return to Emathan when the chance came. Anton is determined to start producing the Alim wine once again so that he can get it to the Githinthor. <a href="https://emathan.rolebyroll.com/campaign-wiki/tionchar-winery/">The Elixir of Strength</a> for them. To do so, he needs to get another <a href="https://emathan.rolebyroll.com/campaign-wiki/tionchar-winery/">Sickle of the Harvest Moon</a> before the Fall. The grapes for the Alim wine can only be harvested with this sickle.
